Ingredients for Poha Recipe
100 gm poha (flattened rice)
50gm peanut (roasted)
50gm green Pea
2 medium onion
2-3 Green chili
2 tsp lemon juice
8-10 Curry leaf
½ tsp mustard
1 tsp sugar (optional)
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp chopped green coriander
Salt as per taste
Take the poha in a bowl, add water and wash it properly . Then drain the poha and keep aside up to 10-15 minute for softness.do not use very thin poha otherwise it will stick on the pan.
Take a pan and heat it on low flame. Add oil, Mustard seeds (sarso),green pea, curry leaves, chopped green chilies and stir it for 30 second. You may add sugar its optional.
Now add chopped onion and stir it till it looks like light brown. Then add turmeric powder, and roasted peanut, and drained poha in it mix well.
Now add salt according to taste and cover the lid for 2-3 minute for the proper taste. Then add Lemon juice and chopped coriander and mix it.
Pour the poha in to serving plate and garnish with green chilies and chopped onions.
